Evelina trained at The British School of Osteopathy in London where she graduated with a Master of Osteopathy and is a full member of the Institute of Osteopathy. As part of her undergraduate training, she spent two years treating patients in Europe's largest osteopathy clinic and its specialist clinics, such as the sports injury clinic and the expectant mothers' clinic. With experience treating patients suffering from a wide range of complaints, Evelina focuses on improving patients' general biomechanics and mobility, thus reducing dysfunction in the body.
Osteopathy is a medically recognised approach to diagnosis and treatment specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and working in conjunction with standard medical treatment. Treatment includes a number of hands on techniques such as soft tissue massage, joint articulation, manipulation, stretches and lymphatic drainage.
It can help relieve symptoms associated with a wide range of conditions, such as:
- Aches and pains
- Back pain of a general, acute and chronic nature
- Joint pains e.g. Osteoarthritis
- Neck pain
- Headaches arising from the neck
- Sports injuries and tension
- Stress related musculoskeletal symptoms
"I have been seeing Evelina for several weeks now, and I just wanted to say that Evalina has been the most effective osteopath I have had treatment from. She appears very experienced and knowledgable, and can pinpoint exactly where the problem areas are. She uses a number of techniques to loosen very tight and knotted muscles in my upper back, which I have had for many years. She has a very caring and empathetic approach which puts me at ease and helps me relax. Throughout the treatment she always ensures that I am not in any pain or discomfort. Thank you" NM 2016
